Context

SEGULA Technologies engineering department: tracking of purchasing needs and orders was scattered across multiple spreadsheets (macro-based tracking sheets, parts lists), with no single point of centralization.

Purchasing statistics: ordered, invoiced and received amounts, status split, monthly trend

Mission

Design of a web application to track purchasing needs and workflow: status tracking from initial request to closure, timestamped history of every decision, spreadsheet import for parts lists, quote management with line-by-line validation, and role-based permissions (project lead, buyer) for multi-user access.

Product catalogue: filters, counter and reference table with technical category

Impact

Centralization of purchasing data and full traceability of decisions, replacing spreadsheets that never talked to one another.
